On January 10th 2023 all unverified user accounts will be deleted.
What are unverified user accounts?
To set up a user account for ShockBase, you need to fill the form on ShockBase. In the next step you receive a mail with a link you need to click on to finish the set up process.
Unverified user accounts are accounts which filled out the form on ShockBase, but never clicked on the link in the mail.
What do you need to do?
You only need to react, if you filled out the form on ShockBase to create an user account, but never reacted to the confirmation mail. If you are still up for an account, just click on the link in the confirmation mail you received.
If you have a working account (meaning you can log in into ShockBase), you don’t need to do anything.
Why will accounts be deleted?
There are a couple hundred zombie accounts (unverified accounts) which fill up the database and block usernames other people may want to use.
